How to add a website to Bing/Yahoo search engine webmaster
The two search engines Bing and Yahoo have merged and the webmaster tool is now in Bing. We follow the link https://www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster , where you will need to register, and it is better to log in using your google account – import will be available.
After registration-authorization, in the upper left corner, select Add site:
You will see a window for adding a site:
Here we have 2 options (if you are logged in via google):
Import from google search console to bing webmaster
Select Import Sites from the Google Search Console, after which the import window will open, click on the Continue button.
After that, you need to grant bing access to the google search console. A window will open with a selection of sites to import.
Select the sites that you want to import into bing webmaster tools and click on the “Import” button. After that, in a couple of seconds, Bing imports the sites and if everything is fine, you will see a message about the successful addition.
Speed up page indexing: Adding sitemap.xml
If the site has a sitemap.xml and it hasn’t been imported, add it manually. To do this, go to the “Website Maps” section, on the page that opens, click on the Send website map button, a window will pop up in which you need to specify the address where you can open sitemap.xml in the browser and click on the Send button.
The first information about the site will be displayed in a few weeks. So be patient and fill the site with unique content!)
