DJI has teamed up with Japanese chat app giant Line for what it describes as its “first featured drone.” It’s a version of the entry-level portable Spark that bears the face of Brown, the stoic bear found in countless emojis and sticker sets.

As a chat app, Line is only very popular in Japan, Taiwan, and some other Asian regions. But its original characters have proven to be credible businesspeople in their own right. Line Friends merchandise is now sold in 108 countries, and the company last year opened a flagship store in New York’s Times Square.

“Similar to other things we carry in our bags, a drone is becoming a lifestyle accessory,” DJI Senior Communications Manager Monica Suk says in a press release . “This special edition that we are launching with Line Friends will take this concept even further and make storytelling and sharing exciting and a part of our everyday lives.”

DJI officially calls this drone collaboration Line Friends (Brown) L Spark . It comes with the drone, a battery, three pairs of propellers, a remote control, two RC cables, and a USB charger for $399. DJI will sell it at its flagship stores and online in North America, China, Hong Kong, and Korea.
